Blue Agave nectar is a delicious natural sweetener preferred by health-conscious people for use in foods and beverages. It has a low glycemic index rating, making it ideal for diabetics, hypoglycemics, dieters, and athletes, as well as those who wish to avoid sucrose or artificial sweeteners. Use it in recipes by reducing the amount of liquid called for, just as with honey or sugar.
